Founded in 2018, O2M Solutions (Open-source Metallurgy Modelling Solutions) was established to bridge the gap between advanced numerical modeling and the flexibility of open-source software. At the heart of our work is RAVEL, our OpenFOAM-based platform designed to deliver robust solutions to the industry’s most complex metallurgical challenges.

We combine deep expertise in numerical methods, industrial processes, and high‑performance computing to tackle non‑trivial studies–projects that demand both customized software development and rigorous physical modeling.

Our headquarters within the Institut Jean Lamour reflects a long-standing partnership with the laboratory’s Process Metallurgy Group.
