Founded in 2018, O2M Solutions (Open-source Metallurgy Modelling Solutions) was established to bridge the gap between advanced numerical modeling and the flexibility of open-source software. At the heart of our work is RAVEL, our OpenFOAM-based platform designed to deliver robust solutions to the industry’s most complex metallurgical challenges.
We combine deep expertise in numerical methods, industrial processes, and high‑performance computing to tackle non‑trivial studies–projects that demand both customized software development and rigorous physical modeling.
Our headquarters at BeePlex co-working space in Nancy’s city center provides a flexible and well-equipped environment, offering convenient access and professional meeting facilities to better support collaboration with clients and partners. We maintain a strong and active partnership with the Institut Jean Lamour, particularly with the Process Metallurgy Group, ensuring a continued close link between cutting-edge academic research and practical industrial application.
